Service — the first step

Will your material hold up on screen? Find out before you pay for 3D

A short, defined job with a written result. Not a meeting, not a proposal.

What you get

3 steps · about a minute · I answer within one business day

Your product and the material that matters most get rebuilt on screen, lit, tested on your customers’ devices and held against the real thing. You get a written answer with the reasoning behind it: worth doing, worth doing after these fixes, better presented another way, or do not go there at all.

Who it is for
Companies considering a configurator, a showroom or 3D on the website
What you send
Files, photographs and a sample when the surface needs one
What you get
A written answer, the risks, and what the fixes would take
The result is yours
Including the file fixes and the material setup, which any supplier can continue from

What you send me

3D or CAD files

Whatever your engineers or suppliers work in. Converting it is my problem, not yours.

Photographs of the product

The real object, so the result is judged against something true.

Photographs of the material

The same surface in different light. That is where a material either works or does not.

What comes back

A verdict on your files

Usable as they are, or what has to be fixed, written so your own people understand it.

Your material, built and tested

The surface that matters most, rebuilt and shown next to the real product.

A working baseline

Camera, lighting and environment set so the material reads correctly.

How close it gets

An honest assessment of the gap between the screen and the product in your hand.

The recommendation is one of four

Go ahead

Your product and materials carry it, and here is the scope that fits.

Fix this first

It will work once specific files or materials are sorted, and here is exactly which ones.

Present it differently

A configurator is not the strongest option here, and here is what would sell the product better.

Do not build it

The result would not hold up, and here is why. Better a lost project than a bad one.

How it runs

  1. 01

    You send what you have

Files, photographs, a sample, and the devices that matter.

  2. 02

    You get a fixed scope

What will be tested, how long it takes and what it costs, before anything starts.

  3. 03

    The testing

Your files, your material, your devices.

  4. 04

    The result, walked through

The written answer, plus a call to go through it together.

Scope and price

One material on a clean existing model is a different job from a full assembly with six finishes. Either way the check is a fraction of the configurator budget it is there to protect.

You get a ballpark in the first conversation. The fixed scope, price and timeline come before anything is charged.

Before you send the files

Is this paid?

Yes. It is a defined job with a written result, not a stage of a sales conversation. The first call about whether you need it at all is free.

It follows from the number of materials and the state of your files, so the fixed number comes once I see what you send. You will hear a ballpark in the first conversation. Whatever it comes to, it is a fraction of what a configurator built blind would cost.

Yes. Photographs, drawings and a physical sample are enough to judge the material and to tell you what modeling would involve.

No, and that is the point of it. The result is yours, including the file fixes and the material setup, and another supplier can pick it up.

No, and that is as it should be. That particular answer saves you a multiple of what the check cost. If I refunded it, I would have a reason not to say it.
